For the 12th release from the secretsundaze stable comes a fresh 12” from Chicago born Amir Alexander. Coming to our attention via his Vanguard Sound label he runs with partner in crime Chris Mitchell, and a string of great releases on the likes of Argot, Deep Vibes and Hype LTD. Amir’s releases are always dynamic and exciting, ranging from deep and atmospheric to straight up acid excursions.
‘Don’t Go’ seems to be a culmination of these signature styles with hard hitting drums, a catchy synth line, squelchy bass and mournful vocal. This has been road tested for some time now by both Giles and James at secretsundaze and on their travels and James included it in his LWE podcast. The track is a guaranteed floor filler, perfectly balancing energy and atmosphere. On the flip ‘Bangin’ is equally direct, focussing on the drums with a squiggly acid line sneaking in, offset by more melodic touches.
Another essential release from Amir Alexander and indeed the secretsundaze camp.

So far as a label we have been focussing on building a seriously strong back catalogue of 100% original new disco music. This has included both digital EPs and vinyl releases. We are pleased to say that support for our sound has come in from the very best disco DJs in the world including Eric Duncan, Ashley Beedle, Greg Wilson, Rahaan, Horse Meat Disco, Tensnake, Al Kent, Pete Herbert, Chris Duckenfield, Crazy P and many more. Big thanks to all of them for playing the music!
For this new vinyl series we have collated the biggest selling and most popular ‘digital only’ cuts from the last year by Drop Out Orchestra and JKriv & The Disco Machine, plus an exclusive and unreleased Pete Herbert & Dicky Trisco Mix of Drop Out Orchestra’s The National Theatre. There has been a lot of public demand for these tracks on vinyl. So those of you with a vinyl addiction can now spin them on wax along with your classics.
File them under ‘Disco’ in your collection.
And thanks again for the support x
